hotel room itself was nice although we had a city view and not a river view (i’m sure this view would be nicer because you’re right by the river and story bridge and it’s a great view). the actual checking in/out process was really strange as we’d booked on booking.com and not directly with the property, the lady at the check in desk was very dismissive and abrupt with us on arrival and told us to call the number on booking.com. a man i spoke to advised to collect and hand back the keys for the room from the ezymart down the street? kinda weird, id never experienced that before! nevertheless it was relatively straightforward, however i had requested late check out for the 17th on the 13th and was advised no which was disappointing. lifts were quick, room itself was clean however the sink had used plastic disposable gloves and an empty bottle of dishwashing soap thrown in there. little bit haphazard and unprepared. bed was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen facilities were fine. location wise it’s ideal for the river and the ferry as well as many restaurants and the cbd shopping area.

I like everything about this hotel except the beds. They are so uncomfortably I struggled to sleep. No matter how good a hotel is, at the end of the day it's just a place to sleep when you are travelling. I won't be staying here again.

The room was nice and the price was fair but we called about coming in early for early check in and instead of saying we couldn’t have early check in they said come and see if we can do early check in but when we got there they said they had to do room inspections on our rooms so we had to sit in the waiting room for a whole hour while they “inspected” the room even though we already paid. Also at the end of our stay the lifts were so slow that we sat waiting 25 minutes for a lift and we were fed up so we had to walk down 26 flights of stairs with our luggage.
